ACHAIA CLAUSS was founded in 1861 and is the oldest winery in Greece. The TV show “Parea me ti Fenia” visited the historic winery in Patras and toured its most beautiful areas, followed by an exclusive interview with Fenia Doukoglou and Mr. Periklis Baltas.

ACHAIA CLAUSS is located on the hill of the same name and was founded in 1861 by Bavarian Gustav Clauss, who came to Patras in 1854 to work for a German currant export company. During one of his excursions, he discovered the area and was captivated by its enchanting landscape and vineyards. He initially purchased a small vineyard of just 60 acres, which eventually grew into the Castle-Winery that still stands proudly today.
